Wine Tourism
Wine Tourism started in Europe in the early 20th century with the development of wine routes across the continent. In France, Alsace's wine roads (created 50 years ago) and the classification of wines of Gironde contributed to the first steps of modern wine tourism.
Today, wine tourism includes:
- Guided tours at wineries and wine cellars
- Wine Museums
- Immersive experiences
- Tasting sessions
- Grape festivals
- Workshops and courses
- Gastronomic experiences
